What is it like living in amsterdam?
i live in the states, and just wish the whole world by my own knowledge of amsterdam was like amsterdam. everything just seems way chill there, and everyone just seems happy. i mean hell, you can walk into a coffee shop and buy weed. the law makers here would probably rather sacrifice themselves before allowing that to happen.I just want you people in amsterdam to know how fortunate you really are, cause if you lived in the states, you probably wouldn't last a year cause everything is so serious and idiotic and uptight. but my question is, is amsterdam actually as good as it sounds?

Hi i'm going to be in Amsterdam on the 20th of march and a lot of the hostels are already booked, but there are still spots open, but i just need one for one night saturday and they all say there is a minimum 2 night booking policy during weekends.So basically i was wondering if i just went sunday, I know amsterdam is very well known and there are thousands of tourists there at all times obviously but if I just went on Sunday, are there still places open or does mostly everything close like the rest of europe on sundays? Are there still a lot of people there on sundays and is the city center open for tourists?

During the Episode To Hull And Back 1985 there is a chase scene involving Delboy, Rodney and Uncle Albert with a chase themed music playing in the background.
