Where should I stay in amsterdam?
My boyfriend and I are taking a 5 day trip to amsterdam and can't decide what neighborhood to stay in?We are in our 20's and want to be near restaurants, pubs, and maybe even clubs. If possible we would also like to be overlooking a canal. We would like to stay around $200 a night and would prefer 4 star accommodations. Any suggestions?

I am looking for a nice place in amsterdam to stay in on a thursday to saturday, but they all seem to be unavilable i think because its only 2 nights and not 3 . If anyone knows good places that do not require 3 nights i would be really grateful thanks

Do you think a 16 and 17 year old would enjoy amsterdam? A friend wants to go. Of course when you think of sex shows and weed smoking lol, but she does smoke weed and wants somewhere where she can drink, clubs etc? do you think this is a good place to go? is it cheap?tia.as i said its not for me. and well, really, it is. you pick a destination depending on your interests. if someones interest is something as silly as drink and weed then who is anyone else to say they can't go. i think you'll find most teenagers go to places where they can drink and go clubbing. hence ayia napa, ibiza, tenerife.oh shutup lol. im 27 weeks pregnant. im not going anywhere abroad for a long time, especially not somewhere surrounded by weed

im goin to amsterdam and im 16 and my mate is 17 but you have to be 18 to get served with weed so if my parent bought it would we be able to smoke in the coffee shops.
